Erm, I'm sorry?

I just finished Terry Pratchett's Discworld series, and was reading 's round 8 Byako submission and this is what came to mind. It's his Mack (who, for those of you who don't know, has a twin brother named Sam) dressed up in a Ankh-Morpork City Watch uniform; a la Pratchett's Sam Vimes.

I was having trouble with the uniform, since originally I had the uniform Sam is wearing in "Where's My Cow" in mind (hence the "skirt" ) but I couldn't find any reference shots. So I poked around the internet, and didn't get anything really until I found this: [link] on deviantart. That's where I got the chain mail, breastplate and helmet. Oh, and the idea for the arm position. (Originally he was holding the helmet and wearing a cloak, but I can be really picky.)

So yeah, there ya go. Sorry I'm not much of an artist. ^_^;;
