Asifthis'lleverbenoticed-- I mean: Inquire Within

Sat May 30, 2009, 5:01 PM
I played this with :iconsilence-draconis: so...

Leave a comment and...

1. I'll respond with something random about you.
2. I'll tell you which song or movie you remind me of.
3. I'll pick a flavor of pudding to wrestle you in.
4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me.
5. I'll tell you my first memory of you.
6. I'll tell you what animal you remind me of.
7. I'll ask you something I've always wondered about you.
8. I'll tell you my favorite thing about you.
9. I'll tell you my least favorite thing about you.
10. If you play, you MUST post this on yours.

Apparently Ninjas Etcetera is back, possibly eventually with a deviantart account of it's very own. (God knows that'd be cheaper then getting another website x_X.)

I've been working a lot recently, both as a lackey for my neighbor's gardening company, and as a personal assistant to a blind priest (reading/writing/typing/driving/organizing/etc.). It looks like I may have another blind person to order me around soon, and my parents think I should get a business license (which would cut back on health insurance costs, and apparently do wonders to my taxes).

Not sure how I feel about this idea, and don't know what it would mean in regards to a move to California. Maybe I can do the same work out there? It pays $10 an hour so far, and I usually end up with just under $250 a week (that's half of my monthly health care coverage bill).

The gardening work is also $10 an hour, but she pays me cash, so I generally treat that as spending money. No delusions of that ever making it to my checking account. ^_^;;

Still though, I'm also paying for my own car insurance, and I'm waiting for my parents to make a declaration of rent... I'd really like to make AT LEAST as much as I'm making now out West.

Thoughts?

...

((Who am I kidding? Nobody reads this thing; just look at the last entry! Good think I don't care. ^_^;; ))

It sounds like a good idea, but make sure to do some research first before deciding to do it (and make sure there's an open market for it in Cali!) and getting a license may require additional training (which may cost $$). It's definitely something to look into though! It's a good cause and it seems to pay well. Anything good for insurance costs (Lord knows that can suck) and taxes (also craptastic) is something to look into.

Yeah. I'm having throuble meeting up with the prospective second client, which I suppose is just as well. As far as training goes, it would be more worth while to focus more on finishing my degree (all 16 remaining credis of it) then starting something new at this point. Thanks for the advice though, and I hadn't thought about insurance. :S
